Academic Writing 2 is a course for students who are preparing to study, are already studying IELTS, or are currently studying in an academic environment and need to improve their writing skills.
Academic writing 2 will focus on how to generate ideas, organise material, draft, review and revise written work.

This course is designed for Intermediate – Upper-Intermediate but could be beneficial to any student in Advanced or IELTS level who wants to improve their Academic writing skills. |
Course Content: |
The course takes students from paragraph structuring to essay writing through a process approach. It teaches learners how to order and link paragraphs into cohesive and coherent essays, and to create the various paragraph types that are used in writing assignments.
During the course trainees will produce sample essays and these will be reviewed to highlight specific areas of improvement.
- Focus on particular aspects of essay writing, such as topics, style, and development.
- Writing support to help them with brainstorming, organizing ideas, writing cohesive essays with effective conclusions.
- Language support to help them with vocabulary, grammar, and punctuation.
- Structured, graded writing assignments.
