Course Objectives:
A 2 part course for students who are preparing to study at University, are already studying IELTS or who are currently studying in an academic environment and need to improve their speaking and listening skills.

Course Level:

This course is designed for Intermediate – Advanced but could be beneficial to any student in Upper-Intermediate or IELTS level who wants to improve their Academic speaking and listening skills.

Course Content:
This course teaches students a multi-approach method to both speaking & listening by identifying similarities between the two skills. During the course you will learn how to:

 

  • Order and link ideas into cohesive and coherent speech
  • Participate in academic group discussions
  • Speak effectively using correct stress, intonation and body language
  • Prepare for listening and identify key information
  • Take effective and accurate notes
Course Length:
