Course Objectives:	A 2 part course for students who are preparing to study at University, are already studying IELTS or who are currently studying in an academic environment and need to improve their reading skills.
Course Level:	This course is designed for Intermediate – Advanced but could be beneficial to any student in Upper-Intermediate or IELTS level who wants to improve their Academic reading skills.
Course Content:	This course will provide students with the ability to analyse texts from both academic and media sources. During the course you will learn to skim and scan texts in order to comprehend the relevant content efficiently and effectively: Analyse texts from Academic and Media sources Guess word meanings Effectively skim and scan texts Understand exam questions Discover methods to help ‘self-learn’ in academic studies.
Course Length:	2 modules X 24 hours/module
