English for Finance & Accountancy Professionals

Cambridge ICFE Examination

With the Bell ICFE Course, you also prepare for the Cambridge ICFE Exam (International Certificate in Financial English), a high-level, internationally recognised qualification for aspiring and established finance professionals that is endorsed by ACCA.

For aspiring professionals, Cambridge ICFE can enhance your CV. For professionals with established careers, it can be used to certificate existing language skills and provide proof of ability to work in an international context.

Bell Vietnam is an authorised Cambridge ICFE Test Centre and examinations are available up to six times per year.

Bell ICFE Course

The course, comprising 25 lessons over 75 hours of tuition, concentrates on the four English language skills of Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing and you practice these skills across the range of financial topics shown in Appendix A. Classes for exam preparation and technique are included within this total number.

For participants not wishing to take the ICFE exam, the course can be tailored to suit individual needs so you still get the benefits for your work.

Pre-requisites

• If you have IELTS 5.0 or above and are familiar with some finance and accountancy concepts and terminology, then you can join the Bell ICFE Course.
• If you have a limited knowledge of finance and accountancy and IELTS 4.5 or above, then you can join the Bell pre-ICFE course comprising 2 modules of English each with 45 hours of tuition.
• If you have a good knowledge of finance and accountancy concepts and terminology, and IELTS of 4.5 or above, you can join the Bell pre-sessional English for ICFE. According to your level, you would take 1 or 2 modules of 45 hours of tuition.

Course Leader

The course will be led by Joseph Ormerod, a graduate of Oxford University and holder of an MBA degree, who brings to this course his wealth of experience of business, gained over 40 years from senior roles in companies and from company directorships.
