Jacqueline Dyer

Originally from the UK, Jacky has over 28 years’ experience as a teacher, teacher trainer and educational manager in Europe and, since 1994, in Vietnam. Jacky established The Education Company in Hanoi in 2002 and Bell Vietnam in 2006.
An expert in the field of language training, with a Masters in TEFL and an MEd in Educational Management, Jacky has authored many research papers and reports on education. Jacky has conducted several donor-funded education consultancy projects for international organizations, and she now leads our work with NGOs.

Joseph Ormerod

Joseph leads the Business English Team. He has a strong track record in international business management gained over 30 years at senior and board level from a broad range of major organizations in the pharmaceutical industry and in the education sector.
A graduate of Oxford University, Joseph also has an MBA and English language teaching qualifications and has most recently been coaching senior executives in Europe to use English effectively for business success.

Nguyen Thi Nhu Nguyen

Nhu Nguyen a member of the Board of Management of Bell Vietnam, and its Vietnamese language editor, has a degree from the former Soviet Union, a degree in English and Masters and PhD degrees in Literature.
Nguyen has been a teacher for over 25 years and is currently Senior Lecturer at Hanoi University. She founded The Education Company with Jacky Dyer in 2002. Nguyen is a professional translator and interpreter and has written many articles about literature for Vietnamese magazines.

Ivan Hawksley

Ivan has been working as an English Language teacher for over 15 years, most of that time spent working in SE Asia. His experience covers both general and academic English, including several years as an IELTs examiner for the British Council in Thailand.
Ivan now leads Bell Vietnam's academic courses preparing students for the IELTS exam and also equipping them with the academic skills needed to succeed in English at university in Vietnam and overseas.

Originally from the USA, Noelle is a PR Professional with over 15 years experience in Asia gained with British, Australian and Japanese organizations.
A qualified English language teacher, Noelle brings to the training room her extensive experience of communicating with the public and the media for commercial and fund-raising purposes. Writing speeches for dignitaries and CEOs and coaching them for persuasive delivery is one of the very specialised skills that Noelle provides.

Ellen comes from the USA, but she has worked extensively in Europe and Asia including nearly 10 years in Vietnam. After teaching in the USA for three years, Ellen qualified as an English language teacher in 1997 and as an IELTS Examiner in 2004.
Ellen brings her wider skills of general management and customer care to bear in her classes at Bell.

Peter Busdon

A qualified English language teacher from the USA, Peter worked for many years in banking rising to Vice-President Banking Operations, The Greater New York Savings Bank. Subsequently, Peter moved into investment planning as President of Spectrum Capital Planning, New York.
Peter has been teaching English in SE Asia for the past 5 years, concentrating on business English, and he now brings his specialist knowledge of banking, investment planning and financial analysis to his courses here in Vietnam.

Mai Thi Minh Tho

Tho graduated in Teaching English from Van Lang University in Ho Chi Minh City over 10 years ago and has been teaching English since that time. Tho is now programme manager at Bell Vietnam, supporting all our teaching activities and liaising with individual learners and corporate clients.
